What is

GREENovation?

GREENovation is an Erasmus+ project designed to equip adults with fewer opportunities with essential green and entrepreneurial skills, supporting the green transition through education and technology.

The project aims to promote sustainability, inclusion and digital transformation by providing training, tools and innovative methodologies for adult learners and educators.

Why
GREENovation?

3

The green transition is a major priority in today’s economy. The demand for green jobs is increasing, yet many adults lack the necessary skills to access these opportunities. GREENovation seeks to close this gap by providing accessible and interactive training in green entrepreneurship and sustainable
business models.

4

Between 2000 and 2020, employment
in the environmental economy
increased by 4.5%, while overall
employment fell by 1.4%. However,
many adults are unaware of green
career paths. GREENovation aim to change that!

5

Through a combination of VR
simulations, an interactive e-learning platform, and mobile applications, we will upskill and
reskill individuals, preparing them
for a more sustainable future.

Key Challenges

6

Limited access to green education

Many adults, particularly those
in rural areas, migrants, NEETs,
and unemployed individuals face barriers to education and upskilling

Skill gaps in the green economy

The European Agenda for Adult Learning (AL) emphasizes the importance of adult education for social inclusion, civic engagement and professional development, in order to create a generation of environment-conscious professionals.

Digital divide

Adult learners and educators often struggle with using emerging digital tools, making it harder to transition into modern, sustainable business models

Need for innovative learning methodologies

Traditional training programs do not fully prepare learners for real world green jobs, requiring more interactive, hands-on experiences.
